Young ESOS :

Welcome to the new Young ESOS page!

As you can see from the photos, ESOS is proud to provide opportunities for young people to perform on stage over many years.  Whenever possible, young people are involved in the ‘adult’ productions but we have had two shows specifically for young people.  In 2004, we put on Honk! based on the story of The Ugly Duckling and followed this in 2007 with the award winning Oklahoma!  

We are excited to be doing The Wizard of Oz to be performed on the stage of the Harlequin Theatre on the 5th – 7th August 2010. 

Music rehearsals will take place at Micklefield School one evening each week starting on June 30th.  Then from Monday 26th to Saturday 31st July there will be an intensive Workshop Week with rehearsals starting in the morning and finishing late afternoons.  We shall end the week with a picnic on Saturday afternoon and then have a rest on Sunday 1st August.

On Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd August there are rehearsals and costume calls as they are needed.  Wednesday 4th August is the Band Call and Dress Rehearsal; performances are at the Harlequin Theatre from Thursday 5th to Saturday 7th August.
